The 11th edition of the Innovation Radar Prize took place on November 10 in Lisbon. This celebration of ambitious EU-funded innovators who are making the leap from the lab to the marketplace saw 12 EU-funded innovators compete in 3 categories: ‘Climate, Energy & Mobility’; ‘AI & Digital Intelligence’; and, ‘Smart Hardware & Robotics’.
The 2025 edition of the Innovation Radar Prize was organised by the Innovation Radar Bridge initiative (that includes Dealflow.eu, Dealroom and EU Startups) and in partnership with Unicorn Factory Lisboa.
EU-funded startups are reshaping Europe’s innovation landscape. With €12 billion in support, these startups have attracted €70 billion in venture capital and generated €560 billion in enterprise value.
Now representing 13% of Europe’s total startup ecosystem, they are proof of the economic impact driven by EU innovation funding.

This 10th edition of the Innovation Radar Prize was organised by Dealflow.eu in partnership with ‘The Europas 100 Hottest Startups Awards’. It was a true celebration of some of the most ambitious EU-funded innovators who are making the leap from the lab to the marketplace.
Innovation Radar is now reinforced with the new Innovation Radar Bridge project, launched in Brussels on 16 April 2024. Innovation Radar Bridge will focus on strengthening connections between EU-funded innovators, European investors, and policymakers in member states (especially funding programmes managed by EU Member States that target innovators). It will do this throughout targeted events, deep dive thematic reports, and mobilising greater use of Innovation Radar intelligence. The ultimate goal? Ensuring greater market and societal uptake of ground-breaking EU-funded innovations.
