We are a European network of Melanoma patients and patient advocates that originally came together to collaborate to effectively share knowledge relevant to Melanoma such as about novel therapies, clinical trials, access schemes, research results and updates about regulatory and Health Technology Assessment decisions. Over time, we have established the reputation as a solution-oriented, neutral convenor on issues relevant to patients- e.g. for researchers and research funders, policy makers, the European Medicines Agency, EMA, HTA bodies, investors, diagnostic and pharmaceutical companies. Most recently, we have decided to independently evolve methods and tools we developed in the areas of research, social innovation and design under the umbrella of MPNE RSID, MPNE Research, Social Innovation and Design, to increase the reach and impact of our work beyond the Melanoma community.
