Founded in 1998, FIMA is the head entity of the Centro de Investigación Médica Aplicada (CIMA), a biomedical research institute of the University of Navarra. Inaugurated in 2004 with the mission of conducting translational research of excellence aimed at benefiting patients and society. We are the research center of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. With our academic status, we work non-profit to achieve our scientific goal of addressing current clinical problems and proposing the most effective treatment for each patient. With more than 423 professionals, our research is multidisciplinary, carried out by teams of professionals from various fields. We are leaders in research on cancer, heart diseases, and liver diseases, in the field of immunotherapy and gene therapy.
