University “St. Kliment Ohridski” - Bitola (UKLO) is the second oldest state University in the Republic of North Macedonia It is seated in Bitola, but some of its 12 higher education and scientific-research units are located in several centers other than the seat. Since its foundation (1979), UKLO has provided higher education for over 33,000 graduates. Currently operating with about 10,000 students in the three cycles of the system and with approximately 2,000 newly enrolled per academic year, UKLO is among the medium-sized, comprehensive universities and offers a range of studies in the area of Technical Sciences, Economics, Biotechnical Sciences and ICT, Tourism, Education, Health Care, Law Studies and Security. In a rapidly changing world, UKLO strives to keep up with the latest trends in the area of internationalization involving bilateral cooperation agreements with renowned universities worldwide, entering relations of cooperation for the purpose of realization of international academic and scientific-research projects.
