Cyberbotics Sàrl develops the Webots open-source robot simulation software since 1998 and provides various customization services: development of robot simulation scenarios, 3D models, interfaces, cloud/web deployments, and related software tools. We collaborate with both industrial and academic partners on various projects, involving digital twins, cloud-based robot simulations running from the web, deep learning for robotics, HPC systems running robotics simulations, automobile and traffic simulation, etc. We currently participate in two Horizon 2020 projects: OpenDR and OPTIMA. Open source robot simulations shared through the web provide a state-of-the-art tool which is especially well suited for EU research projects, as it facilitates collaborative research and development, integration, open-science dissemination respecting FAIR principles and project review.
