AERIS is a spin-off of the Autonomous University of Barcelona comprising experts from the GENOCOV research group, aimed at helping industries and public entities to improve the environmental quality of their emissions and valorizing them through state-of-the-art biológical technologies.
In addition developing "turnkey" systems for the treatment of polluted water and gases and the production of energy through biological pathways, AERIS carries out an intensive research work. So far, AERIS has taken part in dozens of privately and publicly-funded research projects.
