Psious was founded in 2013 as a Virtual Reality solution to help treat anxiety disorders such as fear of flying, heights or enclosed spaces. Until 2015, Psious focused on the development of a first VR-module and its validation with real patients; we then developed over 70 content more modules. Once this basis was established, we started to expand our commercialization process. We have closed deals with more than 2.000 customers (= therapists), reached 15k+ patients, 2.5k+ registered therapists and reached 80k € of monthly returning revenues (MRR). Among our clients are Mutua Universal (Spain), Vitas (Spain), the National Health Service (NHS, UK) and Káiser Permanente (USA). Today, we have 44 employees and we are continuously growing.
At Psious, we provide innovative Virtual Reality solutions for mental health professionals. We offer help for treating specific phobias, resources to improve anxiety disorders and pain management, and relaxation environments, among others. Our environments have been shown to improve patients' outcomes in a wide array of disorders and contexts, including fear of flying, fear of darkness in children, or chemotherapy. Our platform not only hosts over 70 different Virtual Reality environments, but also provides features such as integrated physiological response readings, the ability to adapt the scenes to specific patients, interacting within the patients within the Virtual environment, session reports to monitor progress and the possibility to assign remote "homeworks".
