As a spin-off of the Medical University of Graz, BRAVE Analytics has developed the patented OF2i® measurement technology. This not only delivers accurate and representative results, but also allows detailed real-time insights into the dynamic processes of (nano)particle systems for the first time. This groundbreaking technology enables deeper and automated insights and thus the basis for digitalized 24/7 quality control even at very low (nano)particle concentrations - the answer to today's problems, for example in basic research or life science products such as infusions, narcotics, vaccines and the detection of nano- and microplastics. It all started with a BRAVE idea – to combine photonic and microfluidic forces to break the barrier of Brownian motion and allow (nano)particle characterization in real-time with a number-based, single-particle measurement. The BRAVE team developed two sensor platforms implementing OF2i for both industrial applications and research for high-speed, time-resolved analysis in a size range from 100 nm to 5 μm. BRAVE Analytics intends to close the gap for easy upscaling for real-time product and process information for customers, enabling innovation and in-process quality control (IPQC) towards improved automation in critical infrastructure like pharmaceutical production plants for higher yield and product quality and reduced consumption of energy and resources.
